My cancellation links in the customer emails weren't working, I have just corrected the links but now I am getting 3 copies of the cancellation email to the customer, can you help please.
Issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
If this doesn't help you please create a staging site and provide us with a temporary WP-admin (administrator) and FTP user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thanks for the reply, how will refreshing the page help as it was when I cancelled an appointment, what will I see that will show me that I won't get 3 emails when I cancel an appointment?
Sorry for the misunderstanding, you're correct - this won't help. The behavior that you see usually happens when you configure the notifications in Amelia to go through SMTP, but you also have a mailing plugin installed, like WP Mail SMTP, or something similar. Try changing the method to WP Mail in Amelia Settings/Notifications, and let me know if that helps. If it doesn't, would you be able to provide us with a staging site, along with WP-admin (Administrator) user, FTP, and the database, so our developers can debug the plugin, and see what's going on?
If you're not able to provide us with a staging site, can you clone your website?
If yes - I'll ask you to install the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files that you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.
The Duplicator plugin can export only up to 500MB of data, so if your site is bigger than that, please use the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
Please note that the files will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link.
