We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Good evening,
I have set up the email notifications on Amelia using my Gmail account, and I put an email address (an alias of my email address, which starts with c) different from the actual sender's email address (my email address which starts with v) in "Sender Email". However, as shown in the attachment, the test email received shows my email address in the sender and the alias in the reply to section.
Is there a way to completely hide my email address?
Best regards,
Hello Kevin
Can you please show us how you configured Amelia? The SMTP Username is going to be used as the "From" email address, and that can't be changed, since this is the email "username" that you log into SMTP with:
The Sender Email is the "reply-to" email address. This is how the email is sent with the configuration seen above:
At the moment, there's no way to hide the email address from the notification, but I have forwarded your question to our development team, and I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from them.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello Aleksandar
Thank you for your reply. To give you an answer for your first question, I have a similar configuration on Amelia. The SMTP Username differs from the Sender Email, and I have the same result you had when receiving a test notification.
Thank you for forwarding my question about hiding the SMTP Username email address. Hope it can be solved in the future.
Best regards,
Kevin
Hi Kevin
At the moment, there's no way to hide the email address from the notification, unfortunately, maybe in the future.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If there is anything else we can assist you with please don't hesitate to contact us.
Have a wonderful day!
