One of our customers was given a coupon code and booked recurring appointments but the mobile number he entered was incorrect.
I ended up deleting the appointments so that he could rebook with the correct mobile number, but as the coupon code was only good for 5 appointments, it seems as though the code is showing as no longer valid.
Would it have been possible to change the mobile number that the customer had entered for the booking rather than deleting the appointments altogether?
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
The number can be changed by an admin before the booking is made, in Amelia > Appointments, or even in Amelia > Customers, but I'm afraid that this would not trigger the notification again, as notifications are action triggered (rescheduling an appointment, cancelling it, etc).
Thank you for contacting back; I apologize once again for the delay that we are experiencing. It should change soon, and we will be able to reduce our response time.
Absolutely, you can do that as well; if this is a part of a group booking you can find that appointment in Amelia > Appointments, Edit it, and add this customer to it.

Could we cancel the appointment and then re-book it at the same time for the same customer?
