When setting special days, some services are not available.
I created a special day with a service from 9 to 17, and another special day with a diferent service from 14 to 17 on the same day, but only the one from 9 to 17 is listed as available.
Both spedial days are for the same day, the first one is for services we offer the whole day and the other is for services we offer only in the afternoon.
On the other hand, I would like to hide the button add extra while keeping the extra selector for required extra settings (just want to select 1 mandatory extra and hide the option to add more).
Thank you for purchasing Amelia, and for reaching out to us.
You can't make 2 special days for one date. You will have to create periods on Special days. You have to set up working hours for employees to be from 09-14 fot the first service and from 14-17 for first and second, just like in the picture:
Regarding your second question, it is not possible to"hide the button add extra while keeping the extra selector for required extra settings" that is how the coding is done in Amelia and it cant be altered.
If I set special hours from 9 to 14 and from 14 to 17, I can't have a full day service or any service that goes from one time-slot to the other one, right?
For the button thing, is not possible to set in custom css a display: none; for the button?
You will have full da service because for the first service you will have working hours from 09-14-14-17 and in total that is from 09-17 and for the second service is 14-17 just like you wanted.
As for the button - unfortunately, this can't be done. If you hide the button, you won't be able to add the extra.
If the service is 6 or 7h, does not show as available, because from 9 to 14 is 5h and the service is loger than the pirst time slot. The system does not atach one time slot with the other to allow services covering part of both time slots.
May we suggest a workaround? The workaround is to create two employees with the same name - one who will work from 14 - 17 and the other who will work from 9 - 17. Configure for them Google Calendar integration and connect both employees to the same Google Calendar. When "Remove Google Calendar busy slots" is turned on when one is booked, the other will be blocked if they overlap.
It depends on the form. If the form is [ameliabooking], then you will see the employee selectbox; but in Amelia / Customize you can hide the Employee field.
It means to hide employee drop-down and leave only services. When a service is selected, you go to the employee assigned to that service.

Thanks Marko,
With this option, the employee will show duplicated in the dropdown selector, right?
