I've just signed up for the Developer's license to Amelia for the packages feature, but I've run into a couple of issues.
I want customers to be able to choose a package, pay, and then schedule. I don't want them to have to schedule any dates before they pay. When I choose 0 for Minimum and Maximum Dates Required, the packages do not show up on the front end.
Is there a way to pay for a package without doing any scheduling and then let the customer schedule the dates after they have gone through checkout?
Thank you for your patience as we worked to get back to you, we apologize for the delay, due to a high volume of tickets our team has received, our response time has been delayed, but we're working to ensure everyone receives the help they're needing!
This is possible; we have released the fix for this in our latest version, 4.3. Is this the version of Amelia you have? If not, please update it.
If you do have 4.3, and issue persists, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thanks for getting back to me. I am using the latest version 4.3 of the plugin. It's a WordPress Multisite if that makes a difference. The package actually shows up if the [ameliabooking] shortcode is used, but it does not show up if any of the other shortcodes are used i.e. [ameliabooking service=2], [ameliabooking show=packages]
This could still be the same issue that was supposedly fixed with the last update, so can you please run a couple of tests for us?
Can you edit this page, to show only one shortcode at a time? See if the shortcodes that don't work correctly are displaying correct data when they're alone on a page. If they are, we still have a bug with displaying multiple shortcodes on the same page.
If the issue is still there even when there's only one shortcode on the page, would you be able to create a staging site for which you'll provide us with a temporary wp-admin (administrator) user, along with FTP and database access credentials, so our developers can debug the plugin and see what's going on?
Please note that this is a public ticket, so if you're sharing the login credentials for the staging site, make sure to enable the PRIVATE response.
I appreciate your time and patience. I don't know exactly what I did or what changed, if it was a caching issue or some setting that I changed, or if I just didn't test carefully enough before, but it seems to be working now.
It definitely seems to stop working when there is more than one shortcode from Amelia on a page, but if there is only one shortcode, it seems to work fine.
Thanks again. You can close the ticket and I'll open a new one if I run into any more issues. Again, I appreciate your helpfulness!
Thank you for your feedback, John, and sorry for the late response. Our team is cut in half due to Covid-19 infections, so our response times are longer than usual. Thank you for your patience!
May I ask you to keep this page active, so our QAs can replicate the order of shortcodes, and troubleshoot this in order to remove this limitation once and for all?
