We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Dear sir/madam,
I would like to know why changed appointments are still visible in the finance overview of the day from which they were changed?
I will clarify this question in the following way; say I made an appointment for a client on 1 November 2021. Now this appointment is changed/moved to 15 November 2021. Even when the appointment has been moved out of 1 November to 15 November, it is still visible in the list of appointments for 1 November in the Finance overview.
Why is this, and can I change something to correct this?
Regards,
James
Hi James,
thank you for reaching out to us
This is because the appointment is considered to be paid for on the date of initial booking (Nov 1st, in your example); since, when rescheduled to Nov 15th, customer does not pay anything for the change of the date and even time of the appointment, unless the Nov 1 appointment is fully cancelled and Nov 15th booked as a whole new appointment.
Hi Ivana,
Thank you for your response.
Maybe to add some extra information that could help: we do not (yet) have a system where people pay directly when planning in the appointment. People pay directly after the service is completed.
So, this still creates a problem because the appointment is not seen in the Finance overview of the day to which it was changed. (which we use to export the appointments and payments of the day). The appointment is only visible on the Finance overview of the day of the initial appointment.
Is there anything I can do solve this, and then without having to delete it and make a whole new appointment?
Regards,
James
Hey James
This is actually a bug in Amelia. Thank you for letting us know, it's been forwarded to our developers, and they should be able to fix it before the next update.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksandar,
That is very good to hear! Is it possible to receive a notification of when it is resolved/fixt? It is giving us a lot of issues in terms of our accountancy... Also, then we can inform our web builders to anticipate a change in website design after having updated Amelia.
Regards,
James
