We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi Technical Support

I urgently need help with sending notifications via your plugin. This did initially work but after trying to customize a new notification and change the mail service this has just stopped working. Even reverting back to PHP Mail doesn't help. This is the weakest area of your plugin. Everything else is great.

Also, how do you customize your notifications emails?
When you write text into either the pending or approved sections and hit save it saves the copy across all? Please upgrade this section as soon as possible.

I have tried test mail and that doesn't work either for Appointment Approved
Please help as soon as you can as this is preventing us from going live.

    Hi Colin,

thank you for reaching out to ussmile.png

Issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:

    1. Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings, and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings. 2. Your website has PHP version less than 7 3. The credentials are not correct 4. There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent. 5. If you're using Gmail, please make sure "Allow less secure apps" is enabled.

Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.

Notifications are customized in Amelia > Notification section; just make sure to turn off Grammarly while editing and saving them.

If you change the template for Appointment Approved notification, all appointment approved notifications sent will have the same text, only customer and appointment information will change based on the placeholders you put into the template.

You can also create custom notifications, by clicking Create New Notification option.

    Hi Ivana

Great to hear from you. My PHP version is 7.4

    Amelia > Notification

It seemed whenever I changed anything in this section Approvals stopped going through.

Even test mails were not going through but we're going through for the events section.

I had to deactivate/reinstall and start over then PHP and is now sending through the mails.

    On Gmail, I did this.

Gmail, please make sure "Allow less secure apps followed your online tutorials.

Tried both ports numbers and SSL & TLS

There seems to be a bug within your Notifications section

I will try Gmail again tonight Im sure it was when I tried to change the %recurring_appointments_details%

it stopped the outgoing mail. Weird it did say sent on your system but never went out.

    I will check on this.

Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.

I will try your suggestion here.
Amelia > Notification section - turn off Grammarly while editing and saving them.

    Currently, we require Approval Pending

    %recurring_appointments_details%
Can I change the configure placeholder %recurring_appointments_details%
We need to add in some URLS into the Approved mail that gets send out

    Hi Colin!

Thank you so much for checking those; have you had time to test the other points as well? You can anytime just provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
