We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi.
I have wp amelia and after we have switched to winter time in Denmark, it seems like the 9 am slots has disappeared from my calendar.
I have tried different kind of settings, but I can't make it work.
For example today (2. november 2021) I had a client at 09.00 am, but the time slot does not show up in the calendar.
I have looked in general settings in wordpress and the timezone copenhagen is correct: https://share.getcloudapp.com/GGu46p4z
All customers are from Denmark, but I have also tried to switch on/off, the option in wp amelia, to show the time in the clients time zone, but nothing changed.
Here you can see, that the client which has booked a treatment at 09.00 am does not show up in the calendar, since the calendar only shows time slots from 10.00 am and forward: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuEe4ev
What to do?
Thank you
Hi Mads,
thank you for reaching out to us
Is your device in the same time zone? If so, then we would need to take a look at the site, as the setting you have switched on, for the client to see this in their time zone is currently the only one regulating this.
You can optionally try purging cache fully; WordPress had this issue during the summer time switch for everyone using UTC formats.
If that does not work, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Hi Ivana
It seems like being working now, thank you.
I have a second problem.
I start getting spam-bookings. Emails that I can see are not real customers, but just spam, that is booking time slots. For example these: https://share.getcloudapp.com/5zu9Borz and https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBuEYRBy
How can I avoid this?
Thanks
Hi Mads,
thank you for letting me know; I'm glad to hear that
For the spam, I'm afraid that Amelia currently doesn't have an official email verification system that would prevent spam emails from booking.
You could optionally add a custom field text where you would ask customer to "repeat their email for verification".
However, there is no official method yet that would outright refuse to create a booking for a non valid address.
Hi Ivana
I found that I can enable recaptha in Amelia settings?

Would that solve the problem?
Thanks
Hi Mads,
thank you for contacting back!
It would and would not; if it's a spam email handled by a bot it will help as it would not be able to pass the check.
However, if an actual person is using a custom spam email and enters it manually, it would still happen.
