    Hi.

I am very interested in this plugin as I am using Divi and the features it seems to have seem like it might be the right solution for me.

However, before I purchase this plugin I need to be sure it will work for me.

I will have 2 types of appointments (a lesson and a party).

A lesson will go for 1hour at a cost of $80.  People should be able to select their own desired starting time for a lesson. Anywhere from 9am till 2pm (they should be able to select a starting time from 9:00 or 9:30 or 10:00 or 10:30 etc...) Monday to Friday

A party will go for 3 hours starting from as early as 9am and finishing as late as 7pm at a price of $100.  Again, they should be able to select their own start time in half an hour increments.  ALSO, if a person wants to buy an additional hour they can pay another $20, and have the ability to buy more hours too...

The major thing I need to be sure of is no 2 lessons or 2 parties or a combination of a lesson and a party can operate at the same time.  So there can ONLY ever be one thing happening at a time.  So for example, if someone books a lesson at 12:00 to 1:pm, no one else can book either a lesson or party during that time as the staff will only be able to do one thing at a time.

Bookings can only be made with successful payment with PayPal.

    Is this all possible?

Thank you for your help :)

    Tim

    Hello Tim,

Thank you for your interest in our product.

Yes, it's possible to do all of that with Amelia. You can create two different services but assign one employee to both of them. For example Lessons and Party and set up their working hours as you wish.

But when your employee is occupied on one service it won't be available for the other services until the first appointment is finished and it will show in the calendar. So, if you're offering 1-hour long service every 30 minutes, as soon as one time slot is taken, it will block the next 30-minute increment. For example, if someone books the 09:30 appointment, the time slot at 09:00 will close (since it can't be completed before 09:30), and the time slot at 10:00 will close (since the appointment starting at 09:30 can't complete until 10:00).

Also, you can add extras for any of created services just by choosing services and by clicking add extra and your client would automatically be able to choose if they want to add for example half an hour to the default time length of appointments.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    Kind Regards,

Thank you very much for this information Marko!

I've since downloaded this plugin and I must say it is quite amazing, I'm really enjoying it!

I do have an issue though for my situation and I'm wondering if you'd be able to offer me a solution.

    I offer 2 different services:

Service 1 is available from 09:00 right up until 19:00     7 days a week

Service 2 is available from 09:00 only until 15:00     Monday to Friday

There is only one staff member.

I could insert another staff member and have one working 9-3 mon-fri and the other 9-7 mon - sun however all bookings must go to the same email address.  When I am setting up a second staff member it asks for the email address of the member and it says I can't use the same email address as the first staff members email address.

Do all bookings go to a single email address or are they sent to separate staff email addresses?

The other way around this is setting times each service is available but there doesn't seem to be an option for that.

    Do you have any recommendations?

    Thanks,

    Tim

    Hello Tim,

If you want to have only one employee for the services (which can be stressful because if he is occupied on another service it cant be booked for other service) If you are the only employee and that is ok with you you do not need to create another employee (he will need to have a different e-mail address).

You can set up one employee for two services you just need to modify working hours. For example, you can schedule working hours for service 1 and service 2 to be from 09-15h, and then schedule service one to from 15-19h.

I think that this would solve all of your challanges.

    Hi again Marko.

Unfortunately this will not resolve my issue.

Service1 should be able to be selected from 9am-3pm

Service2 should be able to be selected from 9-7pm.

I don't know where to go from here unfortunately.

If only I could edit each service to outline the available hours of each of them, that would be a perfect solution but it can't be done.

    Hello Tim,

If you create two employees for two services you can just put those working hours for:

The first service is from 9 am-3 pm

Second Services is from 09 am-19 pm

If you are the only employee and you are working on both services at the same time this will resolve your issue if you do it like this:

You can see in my picture that I have one employee on Monday that works on four different services.          You can schedule working hours for service 1 and service 2 to be from 09-15h, and then schedule service one to from 15-19h. The end result will be that service one working hours are from 09-15 and for services two 09-19.

    Mate, this is fantastic!!!

I didn't realise the cross in the circle at the top next to the 'Apply to All Days' allowed me to add more services/times etc.

As a suggestion, when the cursor hovers over that icon you could have a popup  saying 'Add Service'.

Thanks again, I am over the moon.

This plugin is very powerful and does EXACTLY what I need it to do.

Thanks for your fantastic after sales service, it's brilliant :)
