I tried to upgrade my account but the update link was expired so I just purchased another license. How do I update my current plugin without losing all my current settings and info?
Thank you for purchasing Amelia, and for reaching out to us.
Your first license has expired in July and that is the reason why you couldn't upgraded it. Also, the last one was a Pro version now you bought a Basic one.
You don't need to reinstall anything on your site you just need to change the purchase code in Amelia Settings/Activation.
If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Hello, thanks for responding. So, the plugin isn't allowing automatic updates. When I attempt to manually update it only takes me to a blank screen. I've attached the screenshot. Also, when attempting to change the purchase code as you recommended, it doesn't give me that option to change it. I thought about just deactivating and reinstalling the plugin but I'm afraid I will lose my current settings, uploads, etc. I'm kinda stuck now and don't know what to do. Can you please help me make sure I've updated the plugin to the current version?
The reason why you couldn't update Amelia is because your purchase code has expired, but we have deactivated your code remotely. Now you just have to go to Activations settings and enter a new purchase code.
After that, if you still see the same thing you can click on the red button "deactivate".
But if the problem still persists please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your website where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here because this ticket is private and nobody can see them except us.
