Is there any way to ensure that an employee's days off are visible on the Back end Calendar so that receptionists wanting to make an appointment in Amelia over the phone can instantly see what days and times are not available before trying to make an appointment on a particular time and date which happens to be that employee's time off. Blank spaces in the Calendar (after employee has indicated days and times off ) do not indicate whether the employee has time off or not. Thus the receptionist is in the embarrassing position of promising the patient a time and date that turns out to be unavailable when attempting to fill out the patient's information.
At the moment, I'm afraid that Dashboard Calendar directly will show only booked appointments; Days Off can be seen when booking is about to be created, by clicking one of these two buttons on the right side of the calendar:
In that way, when New Appointment tab opens, service and employee are selected, when the receptionist opens the calendar to pick the date that client requested, it will show whether or not the employee is off / unavailable:
This employee in particular has weekends off, that is why Saturday and Sunday are in red and cannot be selected. Would this work for you?
