We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I have upgraded downloaded the zip-file. I am using WordPress and have the option to install any plugin by using a zip-file... WordPress usually unpacks and installs the new plugin.
In this case I would delete Amelia plugin (basis version) and install the Pro version. However, I am afraid to lose my existing customer appointments, employee data and other settings.
How can I make a sure that I am not losing those important information?
Is there any export and import function in Amelia?
Thank you for your help in advance.
BR, Mo
Hello Mohsen,
Thank you for purchasing Amelia, and for reaching out to us.
Go to Amelia Settings/Activation and make sure that the "Delete database tables" slider is disabled. After that, if you're on WP 5.8+, you can go to the Plugins section, disable Amelia, and then click on Add New, and upload the ameliabooking-pro.zip file.
WordPress will then inform you that you're replacing v4.2 with v4.2, so you need to agree with that, and that's it. You won't lose your data since "Delete database tables" is disabled, but when you activate the plugin, make sure to purge all cache from your website.
If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
