We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Dear Sir or Madam,
I'm using the "DATA panel" for a table field-column in order to fill the "Possible Values for Column" with my own filter values (image01).
The documentations talks about the ability to insert values that are separated by commas but when I try to do so all the values are got as a unique string.
Immagine that I cut and past the following string:
keyword1, keyword2, keyword3
instead of three separated keywords I get only one string with the whole (image02).
I'm convinced there must be a way to copy and paste multiple value all at once. :)
Kind regards,
Carmelo Caruso
Hi Carmelo
Thank you for reaching out.
Adding data to a predefined values list is best done by copying the data, separated by pipes | like this:
Alpha|Bravo|Charlie|Delta|Echo|Foxtrot
So, when you copy this and paste it into the list of the predefined values, they will be pasted as 6 single values. You can also add them like this:
Alpha Bravo|Charlie Delta|Echo Foxtrot
And they will be added as 3 individual entries. Make sure not to include any spaces around the pipes, otherwise, filtering will not work correctly.
Hi Blaženka, wonderful!!! It would have saved me a lot of work... I will never forget it now!!! 😁
Thanks,
Carmelo
You are most welcome
If there is anything else we can assist you with please don't hesitate to open a new ticket.
Have a wonderful day!
Hi, is there a way a comma to be treated as part of the value and not as a separator? I define the list as
Test,test|Test1,test1|Test2,test. It is well displayed before saving, but after the values are separated. The screenshots are attached.
Thank You in advance,
Ana
Hey Ana
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
This is handled by a 3rd party library and we have no way of modifying it. It would have to be custom-developed, but we do not provide customization services at this time.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
