We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Woocommerce - Only 1 Amelia Appointment at a time in cart?

Hi!  I thought one of the main advantages of using WooCommerce might be that someone could checkout with more than 1 Amelia product.  I've been able to add one appt to the cart, but if I then select another Amelia appointment, it overrides the first one.

Is this how it should work or do I have a setting that needs to be set to allow more than a single product at a time?

Thanks so much for your help.

    Hi, Diane,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

Yes, I'm afraid, that's how WooCommerce integration works in Amelia: it plays the role of a payment getaway, and some of its features as a cart or Woo login are not available in Amelia.

Basically, it is not possible to book multiple appointments at once with current built-in features in Amelia. But it is on our to-do list for future updates.

However, it can be achieved in two ways.

Option one: is to use Recurring appointments. But it is suitable only if a customer books multiple appointments of the same service (thus, all appointments will have the same duration, price, and will be performed with the same recurrence - daily, weekly, monthly). Recurring Appointments are available in all licenses.

Option two: Packages of Services - it is a feature that allows creating packages of multiple appointments (of the same or different services). In that case, the services that are included in the package and the number of appointments will be fixed, and the price will be set for the whole package. Customers will be able to book included Appointments on any days, with no strict recurrence. You can see more information here.

Please note that the Packages feature is only available for Amelia Pro and Developer licenses.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best Regards.
