We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Dear Sir or Madam,
I think I'm in trouble... 😱
- image 01 - import settings for a table (field type multiselectbox). Notice that, given a column, there are more "keys" for each row;
- image 02 - filtering options for the columns: I provided given data values to use for filtering;
- image 03 - behaviour pre-cascading filter options: this is what I want... I need to see, distinctly, all my options values. So far so good.
- image 04 - applied cascading filtering (just bought the add-on): I need to filter first on the Category field-column (just a few options) than on the Keyword field-column. Unfortunately the cascading filter provides me not with a list of my filtered data-value options but instead with the rows contente once that has been filtered.
Do I have a way to solve this? 🙏
Kind regards,
Carmelo Caruso
Hi Carmelo
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I was able to recreate this behavior on my end and it does look odd so I forwarded it to our developers to have a closer look and let me know the logic behind it.
I will update you as soon as I have more information.
We appreciate your time and patience.
Hello Carmelo
This is how cascade filtering works. If you have multiple values in two columns, once you filter per one column, the second column (which is dependant on the first column) will list all possible values for that column, and you wouldn't be able to choose only one value in the second column.
If you set the cascade filtering logic to be free (independent), it would work the same the other way around, meaning if you select "b", you would see "V L" and "L Z" in the "CATEGORIA" filter. The cascade filtering depends on the contents of the cell, and therefore, when you filter by one column, all upcoming columns will only offer possible combinations - you won't be able to filter per individual entries.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
