From the PLANNING tab, I make a new booking and first I look for the customer in our database: Mme BOURQUIN.
As you can see in my attached JPG files, sometimes the search tool indicates "no data" whereas there is a record for this customer and sometimes it works.
Please make sure that your Amelia is currently on version 4.2.
If so, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
It seems that there is an issue with the Customer search field at the moment, and as you said, if you enter the name too fast, the plugin returns the message "no data".
Our developers added a fix but it affected the plugin's speed, that's why they had to remove it. Now they are working on a new solution, and t will be added to the next update or the one after.
Sorry for this inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
I can see that your replies have been deleted. I do not know why. Could you check the status of this issue please? Many thanks in advance.

The issue should have been resolved a couple of updates ago, so please make sure you've updated Amelia to the latest version 4.4.1. If you still face the issue, please record your screen, and show us the behavior, so we can try and replicate it locally.
My salon employees complain that they sometimes get the "nodata" result when looking for a CUSTOMER. I feel like this happens when they type fast. One of the consequences is that they create the same client several times in the database.
This is a big friction. Am I the only customer with this problem? Could it be related to the quality of the internet connection? I can't find a scenario where it is possible to reproduce the problem for sure.

This tends to happen on sites that contain a lot of data, or that are hosted on a low-budget hosting plan. Anything that makes the database-fetching slow. Amelia fetches the user list from the database as you type, so if you type fast, and the hosting plan is low on memory, it can stop the admin-ajax execution until you try again (slower).
This is something we've been working on, but at this point, it seems to be relying on the storage/memory/performance of the server. We'll return this as a QA task so it can be tested locally. If we replicate the issue, we'll forward it to our developers to take a look at it for one of our future updates.
One question : do you think that it can be also due to the computer (used by the employe) or the internet connexion of the computer? Or is it only due to the server ?
In server side, here are the details of our server.
Of course, it could be related to anything that's causing lag. A slow computer can cause this since it takes time to process a request locally, before going out to the server. A slow connection can cause a timeout expiration, which again results in the same behavior.
I tested it locally and couldn't replicate the behavior, but while working with other customers, I experienced this behavior from time to time. It's nothing major, but it can cause frustration. Our developers did fix a couple of issues with the customer section in the past, so the number of similar reports has gone down. The harder it is to replicate, the harder it is to resolve.
We could debug this on your server, and see if we can find something that's causing it.
Would you be able to provide us with a staging site, along with WP-admin (Administrator) user, FTP, and the database, so our developers can debug the plugin in your environment?
Just make sure to enable the PRIVATE response, since this is a public ticket.
