Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend!
Hi, I've been using the amelia plugin for about a month, it works great. I'm trying to create 2 new events but, for some reason, it doesn't save the description in HTML mode. I've tried copy-paste from a text file and even typing the text directly in the plugin, when I press save the description simply disappears. I've done this for several previous events and never had this problem.
Hi Hugo
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Can you please tell us what is the event's name as we can see some on the related page but the description is displayed properly I assume
Can you send us some screenshots of what you see in the backend vs what is displayed on the front?
Do you have Grammarly or another language tool active, can you try disabling it?
Hi Blaženka,
It does display correctly because I edited the PHP tables directly, and inserted the HTML code in the corresponding event description field.
If I add a description in text mode it works and shows in frontpage. If I add anything in HTML, it says it saved the changes but when I reopen the event everything is gone (see screenshots).
I actually have the same issue with the notifications, but it's even stranger, as it shows no text (screenshot) but, if you book it, you actually receive the e-mail correctly.
I also get an error in console, but I don't think it's related to this issue (see screenshot)
I tried disabling all plugins and even did a fresh wordpress install in a subdomain, with only amelia installed, the same issue happens. What puzzles me is that I used it last week with no issues whatsoever...
Any clues?
Hugo
follow up: I hadn't read the last sentence you wrote, I disabled Gramarly and it seems to have fixed the issue!
