We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
HI,
Is there an option for customer to book one service for two people at the same time like 13:00 and the booking will be assigned to two employees who are available at that time ?
It is common scenario for beauty salon. Customer wants to bring their friends for the booking
Hi, Howard,
Sorry for the delayed response.
I'm afraid, It isn't possible to assign two or more Employees to the same appointment in Amelia with its current features. Only one Employee can be assigned per appointment.
But, probably, you can use a workaround: if you plan to form fixed teams, each of these teams can be created as an Employee. In this case, both Employees will have access to the same account and email address that is assigned to this account.
The other workaround is to configure Google Calendar integration and link both Employees to the same Google Calendar. In Amelia Settings -> Integrations, you also need to enable "Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots" and increase the "Maximum number of returned events" to a big value (1.000 or 2.000 for example). Then, when both Employees are connected to the same calendar, once one Employee is booked, both Employees will be unavailable for the duration of the Appointment. Please note that in this case these Employees will have to work in fixed pairs and Customers won't be able to select them separately.
Hope that will help.
Best Regards.
