Hi, this plugin look fantastic. I read a thread from a year ago, which asks "Can I book more than one employee for a job"
At that time it was not possible. Is it possible now? If not, would this be difficult to add?
Many thanks,
Dale
Hi Dale!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for taking interest in Amelia
This isn't an official feature still; however, there is a workaround.
You can connect two employees working on the same service to the same Google or Outlook Calendar - in this way, when employee 1 is booked for 9am tomorrow, employee 2 will be automatically unavailable for booking for that time tomorrow; allowing them to be present for the same appointment. Would this work for you?
This is something i need.
Have you got instruction to set this up as I'm slightly confused
Hi Adrian!
Thank you for reaching out
Do you need help with Calendars or Employee setup?
For the Calendars, please follow the provided links in the previous reply (there is also a video tutorial included for both on the pages linked, and I will be here for any additional question); for Employees you would do the following:
Create Employee 1 and connect them to the Service in Amelia > Employee > that Employee > Assigned Services.
Repeat for Employee 2.
Integrate one of the calendars, and go to Amelia > Employees.
Click on sign in for Employee 1 and sign them into a Calendar of your choice; repeat for Employee 2, and make sure it's the same calendar login.
Thanks for this.
Dealing with a challenging customer, this should do what they want. :-)
