Hi there, having problems with the following...
Notification for customer will work but notification for company does not
Date will not populate on the notification, but the time will
Also if you can send along some instructions on how to get the google map function to work that would be great as well
Hi Robert!
Thank you for reaching out to us
That is very strange; Amelia notifications, when they don't work, no one receives them (employees nor clients); so may I ask that you check these points below:
1. Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings, and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings. 2. Your website has PHP version less than 7 3. The credentials are not correct 4. There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent. 5. If you're using Gmail, please make sure "Allow less secure apps" is enabled.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
For the Google Maps, please let me know if you have enabled Google Map API Keys on your Google account (enabling all necessary API's from the screenshot below), and have you added your billing account? You can read more about this here.
When these are enabled, please add the APIs in API Restrictions on the "Credentials" page:
If you did all this, please check if you inserted the API keys in Google Map API Key option in General settings of Amelia.

Let me know about the notifications, and maps
Hello Robert.
Your WordPress general settings seem to have a custom date format, but when I check it, it doesn't seem to be saved:
This issue will be present until you use one of WordPress' default formats.
So, you would need to use one of these:
I will forward the issue with the custom format to our development team, and hopefully, they'll be able to add it in one of the future versions of the plugin, but can you tell me which format exactly you used?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
