In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

    Dear sir/madam,

    I want to give Employees the ability to change the status of a Payment from 'Pending' to 'Paid'. Is it possible to give Employees this authority in Amelia, or by using another plugin, e.g. User Role Editor?

    Hi James

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately this is not possible using the plugin builtin features but you can try adding more permissions to the employee role using the User Role Editor plugin to achieve what you need.

    We can give you an example of managing the permissions for the employee role:

    When you install and activate the plugin, go to Users -> User role editor

    Hi Blaženka,

    I could not find een option in the list of the User Role Editor to solve this.

    I've tried the '_finance' extensions (see attached photo), but it did not work.

    Can you maybe help me with creating or adding a capability in the User Role Editor plugin for Employees to change the status of a Payment (e.g. from 'Pending' to 'Paid')?

    Hi James 

    I'm afraid we won't be able to assist you with that, as I said it not possible through the main plugin's features we can only suggest trying Roles editor but we cannot guarantee it will work.

    It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.
