We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello
I have two payment related questions:
I want employees to make the bookings in the backend. When they do so a notification will go to the customer.
1. Can an automated payment links (for example a stripe pay link) be included in the 'booking confirmed' notification?
2. When the customer pays that bill can this be reflected in in the appointment status.
Thank you.
Hi, Temper,
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
I'm afraid, at the moment it's not possible to charge Customers online for the booings made on the back-end. Sorry for disappointing you.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards.
Thank you for your reply
I accept your answer, however can i just ensure that i am not being unrealistic when i say its possible to include a basic stripe paylink (in relation to a stripe product) on my default amelia notification emails / texts.
The idea being that when the employee makes and approves an appointment for a customer - on the backend - the customer will then receive an notification that may contain a stripe pay link?
Is there any restrictions i should know about about amelia notifications that could stop this functioning correctly. With your input , ill be glad to test this and let you know how i get on.
regards
Temper
Temper,
No, it's realistic, but then the links have to be individual, so they have to be updated according to the booking, therefore, Amelia should send information about each particular booking to Stripe. And it probably can be achieved through webhooks and a third-party plugin. I'm not a developer so I'm not sure about all details but probably there's a way to customize it.
Best Regards.
