Hello,
Is it possible to create an appointment in Google Calandar that is synchronized with Amelia basic?
It is indicated that the synchronization is bi-directional between Amelia and Google Calendar / Calendar. What does this mean exactly?
Regards,
Massi B.
Hi Massinissa,
thank you for reaching out to us
This means that when booking is made in Amelia, it will show in the employee's Google Calendar as a busy slot, showing the information such as customer's name, appointment date and time, etc.
In return, anything that employee manually enters into the Google Calendar, such as a dentist appointment, will block that date and time he entered in Amelia, so that it cannot be booked.
Appointments manually entered in Google Calendar, however, cannot reflect in Amelia > Appointments.
Hi Ivana,
Is it possible to synchronize custom fields with Google Calendar?
Regards,
Massi B.
Hi Massinissa,
thank you for contacting back
You can add the custom fields placeholders to the Event Description in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google Calendar:
What's the correct synthax for the custom field?
Is it: %custom_field_1%, %custom_field_2%, etc. or %Name_of_custom_field%?
Where can I see the technical name of each field?
Regards,
Massi B.
Hi Massinissa,
thank you for contacting back
You can find these listed in Amelia > Notifications (I apologize for not submitting this screenshot as well):
When you hover over Custom Fields, it will show the following syntax:
%custom_field_1%
Then hover over that syntax and a popup bubble will appear showing you the label name of that custom field.
There is no need to click right + copy, just left click directly on the syntax and it will stay copied, and then paste it into Event Description.
