Hi,
I have a scenario where a customer can amend an event booking time/date up to 24 hours before the event starts and therefore transfer to another time/date in the future (if its not closed). Is there any way I can configure this in Amelia, so my customers can edit their own event bookings? or a workaround of how to do this?

Appointments from Services can be rescheduled, however, Events can only be cancelled.
Customer would need to cancel their reservation for that event, and then go book it at another date.
Hoping you understood my query - Id like to know if there is a way if I can configure Amelia so the customer can cancel an event booking up to 24 hours before the event starts, which will open up the slot for other customers to book.
I dont wish for the customers to have the ability to cancel the booking on the day of the event.

thank you for the clarification; in that case you can set this minimum up in Amelia > Events > Edit:
In this way customer would be able to cancel minimum 24h before the event start.
Thanks, does the cancel trigger an automatic refund back to the customer account? I am using Stripe for payments.
Ideally, I would like the ability for my customer to reschedule events, not cancel them - I can see this can be done for appointments, but not for events - is there a way around this? I only use events, and this would be most useful, thanks
Hi!
I'm afraid that refunds would need to be done manually; in your case from your Stripe account directly, as Amelia does not store customer payment information, so it has nowhere to return the payment in case of a refund.
For now events cannot be rescheduled; customer or employee can cancel them / remove customer as attendee, and sign up for another one again.
