We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello.
My site / Amelia appointments are working properly. When a client is booking an appointment he's receiving approved email. I've added %appointment_cancel_url% but it works only in some clients.
Some other clients they are receiving this as text and not as a link. How can i resolve this?
Hi Konstantinos
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please clarify what was the status of these Appointments in the end? Did they remain Pending/Approved or the status was changed to Cancelled?
This usually happens when there’s some URL link checker as a security option either in Chrome or on your mailing platform.
So, when you include the %appointment_cancel_url% that virus checker checks the URL and cancels the appointment.
The solution would be to enable the Customer panel, so even if the link is clicked, Customers will actually need to go into the panel and cancel their appointments manually.
Thanks for the response.
Actually when a client is booking an appointment the mail is sending properly as approved.
We have setted a Cancel appointment link into the mail and the problem is that some clients they don't receive Cancel Appointment Link as a link but as a text and they can't cancel their appointment if they want to.
We dont wanna enable customer panel, we would love to fix this.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Konstantinos
All Amelia emails are the same, it is not possible that some emails go with a link and some don't. As mentioned before this must be caused by a security measure in the browser or mailing system. We could receive the link just fine when creating a test booking so there is nothing to indicate the notification is broken. I am afraid there is nothing to be done on Amelia's side to affect this.
