Why do recurring events show up like this?

I'm trying to create recurring events so that a person could book their event day. Problem is the way you have recurring events ties all of the recurring dates for that event together instead of treating them like separate.

Example: I set a recurring event. I set Oct 2, 7, and 11 as the days that the event will be *available* however when going to book the event, it shows that that person is being booked for *all* the event dates instead of the specific one that they selected.

How can ensure that we have recurring event types that are agnostic? Someone who books an event for Monday does not need or want to attend Friday.

    Thank you.

    Hi James,

thank you for reaching out to ussmile.png

If you create one event that spans over 3 days like this:

then client will be automatically booked for all three of these dates. You would need to make one event for 7th one for 9th and one for 11th. Is this how you created it?

This image is how I created it. I don't want the client to be booked for all of those dates. The description and the programming don't exactly match. We have a classes that are taught multiple days per week at different times, but they are consistent and happen each week.

Should I just be creating a separate event for each class, ignore the "additional dates" option and just set the class to repeat weekly? It's a lot of manual work, but I think I understand.

    Hi James!

Thank you for letting me know, that was important, as it works just the way you said. It is a lot of manual work; we will see to keep improving events in the future.

For now, I'm afraid it would be needed to make one by one as recurring, and as you said, just ignore Add Date.
