Your plugin works great but there is problem. We purchased it to create bookings for vehicle services, but the inclusion of "employee" in elements of the design is causing issues. We were of the understanding 'employees could be removed according to the documentation but we cant seem to work out how.
We played with labels swapping names out with products to try and make the check out process more logical.
Now in the latest update the total number of persons (e.g. 1 persons x AU$799.00) is displayed in the base price at the foot of the check out form. Customers are booking their cars of course not themselves. There doesn't seem to be any way of turning this off rendering the product useless to us now.
So, first question can we do away with "employees". This is great for hairdresser's and yoga classes but most services aren't about the employees doing the job
Can we remove references to 'people' being booked as opposed to objects such as cars or items for repair. It's a shame the plugin works well hand has features we like, but it seems to have a limited target market for it use
For services, employees are essential, I'm afraid; in order to be able to create Services and Available slots. We can however, hide any sign of an Employee on the frontend from your client (you can hide it in Amelia > Customization); would this work for you?
We can try removing references to people from the frontend as well, but using custom CSS.
In our particular use case, "Number of Persons" is a field we don't use. Is there a way to disable the "Number of Persons" functionality altogether? I've managed to create a user flow that bypasses it on every front end screen, except that it still shows up on the Checkout page in the Product Summary, and I can't find a way to get rid of it.
Similarly, I'd like to be able to change "Appointment Info" to something else. While, technically, the user IS booking an "Appointment", the only place in our company's entire lexicon (and our entire industry, frankly) where the word "Appointment" gets used is in the Product Summary on the Checkout page.
In Amelia/Customize you can change almost all labels related to the booking form. What you're referring to as "Appointment" and number of persons is related to WooCommerce, not Amelia. The integration is pulling the info from Amelia, and is displaying default data.
This is the default description of WooCommerce's cart.
Here's how this can be overridden. Go to Amelia Settings/Payments, and scroll down and open "MetaData and Description". There, you can configure the description that will show up in the cart (otherwise it uses the default cart description that you see):
When you add it like this (it currently has to be in HTML Mode, because we have a bug with the test mode, but it will be fixed for the next update), the cart shows this:
It can be modified per Appointment, Package, and Event. The example shown above is for Events only.
To remove "Bringing anyone with you", you can simply disable this option when creating a Service.
As for the word "Appointment" - that's the default product that Amelia creates in WooCommerce, so you can either change its name in WooCommerce/Products, or assign a different service to a different WooCommerce product (in Amelia/Services -> when you select a service in Settings/Payments section).

+1 on this.
