We have a massagestudio where the customer book and pay on our website.Part of our business idea is that we do not have physical check-out in our studios, everything is done online.
So, they book and pay in advance online. When they then cancel, the payment must be refunded. We can not see how this is automated in Amelia. The booking is canceled but is still paid and we do not see any function where this can be refunded. Now we have to tray the payment in Stripe and refund it there, but its not easy since Stripe doesn't show the customer and the only thing we can go on is the time for the booking.
Is there a solution we have missed here?
When we still write, we have a thought about coupons. We want significantly more settings for coupons, such as that it should be for a certain period of time. Are there plans to develop settings for coupons or can this be solved by connecting to woo commerce
I'm afraid, at the moment there's no feature for refunding Customers in Amelia.
Therefore, refunds should be proceeded manually through the payment system.
As for the coupons we are glad to hear you like the feature, we do have plans to develop it in the feature.
Any ides are more than welcome
You can suggest it as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
Now this is bit off from the topic "refund". If I integrate WOO commerce for payment gateway, can I use there feature of coupons setting and generate coupons in the WOO commerce plugin?
Amelia has a direct integration with Woo Commerce. But please note that we only have a native integration with the main Woo Commerce plugin, it's addons are not confirmed and we cannot guarantee they will work properly with Amelia.
