Hello, I have a problem when a client cancels an appointment. I have observed that it is not automatically deleted from the inventory, so that space cannot be reused, can you help me to configure this functionality correctly? Thank you
Please make sure that you excluded pages with Amelia from caching plugin settings since this issue can be related to caching.
If that doesn't help, please provide us with a temporary WP Admin login and specify what Appointments you are referring to, so we will be able to look into the issue from the inside. You can post credentials as a private response to this ticket.
Meaning that in one slot you can fit 6 people (I tested on a service Ciclo Virtual); when more than one person books they are listed in this appointment together. You would need to check in the appointment itself and remove the client who is cancelled.
Hi Ivana, does this mean that the client himself can NOT cancel the appointment? If so, this is a very significant drawback, isn't there a solution? Thanks
Could you please specify a particular Appointment where this issue occurred? Was it booked by a group of people or by independent Customers? What happened after a Customer/Customers canceled it? How did Customers cancel the Appointment: through the link or on the Customer panel?
Hi Liza. She answered you below: Could you please specify a particular Appointment where this issue occurred? We have detected that it occurs in all cases. Was it booked by a group of people or by independent Customers? Was booked by an individual customer What happened after a Customer / Customers canceled it? The client receives mail confirming the cancellation of the appointment, but in the appointment administration panel it is not deleted and neither does the canceled seat add to the capacity available for the service. How did Customers cancel the Appointment: through the link or on the Customer panel? From the Customer Panel
When the Maximum capacity is set to 10 (for example, Bodybar), and one customer cancels the appointment, they are still listed in the appointment, with a red circle (meaning they canceled the appointment):
This service is still bookable on the front-end, since there are 8 booked spots, 1 cancelled - so there's room for two more people. When I book an appointment from the front-end, I'm added to the list:
So, there are now 9 booked spots, 1 canceled, and one still left:
When I book the final spot, I'm (again) added to the appointment, but the capacity now shows 11/10 because there's one canceled customer:
With all spots taken, the time slot is no longer offered on the front-end:
But if I were to cancel one of the appointments I made:
The time slot becomes available again:
So, even though you see canceled customers in the list, those time slots are available for booking after they are canceled. If you don't want to see canceled customers, you can manually delete them.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi Sergio,
thank you; it would need to have an Admin role, not Manager.
Please change the user role and let me know.
Hi Sergio,
thank you!
It seems that these are Group Appointments.

Sergio,
Customers can cancel their Appointments.
Could you please specify a particular Appointment where this issue occurred? Was it booked by a group of people or by independent Customers? What happened after a Customer/Customers canceled it? How did Customers cancel the Appointment: through the link or on the Customer panel?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Liza.

We have detected that it occurs in all cases.
Was it booked by a group of people or by independent Customers?
Was booked by an individual customer
What happened after a Customer / Customers canceled it?
The client receives mail confirming the cancellation of the appointment, but in the appointment administration panel it is not deleted and neither does the canceled seat add to the capacity available for the service.
How did Customers cancel the Appointment: through the link or on the Customer panel?
From the Customer Panel
Thank you
Hi Sergio,
thank you for the kind reply
I have escalated the issue to our senior colleague to take a look; we will contact you back as soon as possible.
Thanks, Ivana
