Hi,
I have lots of problems using wpDataTables
At this time i wonder this plugin support php 8.0?
My site currently applying php 8.0
HI Dongsoon
Thank you for reaching out to us.
After consulting with our developers we can confirm php 8.0 is supported. Can you please tell us more about the issues you are facing? There usually turns out to be a conflict with another plugin or the currently active theme so once we are able to locate the cause of the issues and see if they are related to each other we will be able to assist you much more
Hi,
In php 8.0, this plugin doesn't work properly. Many problems
I met lots oo problem. In particular, all functions related to sql do not seem to work.
But when I dpwngrade to php 7.4 almost of problems are solved.
I think this plugin don't support php 8.0
Please check again and let me know when this plugin support php 8 fully?
My site need php 8.
Thanks
Hi Dongsoon
I fill forward this to our developers to investigate further but please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Hey Dongsoon
Are you maybe on DigitalOcean?
If you are, can you please ask them to turn off sql_require_primary_key?
DigitalOcean recently enforced primary keys on all newly created tables in their managed databases, and since we’re using UNIQUE, this option needs to be disabled in order to work.
Our developers will surely take a look at this, and find a solid fix for future updates. Also, if DigitalOcean doesn’t want to disable this, please provide us with a temporary wp-admin user (administrator), along with FTP and database access credentials, so we can work on our code.
This is the only known issue we have with php8.
Also, if they don't want to disable this for you, and you're leaving credentials for us, please make sure to enable the PRIVATE response, since this is a public ticket.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
