We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Styling individual table cells

Is there a way to simplify choosing colors for individual cell backgrounds?  For example:

    • can I create my own custom color palette?
    • create and then assign classes to cells?
    • default to hex code instead of rgb?

I need to turn over the styling to someone who is not knowledgeable in CSS or hex color codes.

    Hi mikebeato

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To change the colors of individual cells you can use conditional formatting and the color picker we have available

Another way would be to assign a CSS class to the cell that would automatically use the color you specified yourself

I hope this helps, do let me know if you need any further assistance.

Hi!  I don't see the 'Conditional formatting' option on my table. Where do I find that??

Also, I'd like to change this color palette -- and put my own default colors in. Can I do that??

    Hi Mike

My apologies I was not aware you are using simple tables, they don't have the same options as manual tables. It is not possible to change the color palette or alter its configuration I'm afraid, you can only use the options provided there and you will not be able to use CSS classes with this table type.
