We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I'm having problems entering my clients schedule in Amelia.
My client will offer a few different services, and there is only one employee (herself). It's more a room-based schedule, for a baby-spa (it's a thing apparently...). Like this:
I created a fictive employee for the 5th bath, and that works fine now I think. That's not an elegant solution though. Is there another way?
I had the 4 baths bookable with a 30min buffer afterwards. And the workshops bookable with a 30min buffer before. They both have a service-capacity of 1->4.
I get the feeling Amelia is unworkable for this schedule... Would love solutions proving me wrong:)
Thank you!
Thomas
Edit: changed one of my questions at the end
Oh wait, I can do this with the PRO version with packages I presume? If I make another virtual employee for the workshops that is. Otherwise the buffer from the bath will mess with the hours for the workshop.
Hi Thomas
Thank you for reaching out to us.
To be honest I am not sure I understood your scenario to the fullest, it would be best if you could send us some screenshots or better yet a screen recording so we can get a better understanding and provide you with the best solution.
From what I understood so far the best option would be to create all these services separately and the ones that are being held in the same room, meaning the capacity is already filled, connect the employees for these services to the same google calendar so once that time slot is booked it will not be available for booking for the second service. Then you can set all the buffer times as you need and they will not affect each other and your clients can choose weather they want the workshop or a bath or both.
With packages your clients can purchase multiple services included in the package in one go but that would still leave the problem of buffer times if not sorted out correctly.
But again could you please explain a bit further so we don't make any guesses and help you find the best solution.
