I have added several services on weekdays and different ones on the weekend, and using [ameliabooking], the customer is shown as first step to choose the service and then the date. I would like however, that the customer can select the day first and then the services available on that day.
I have tried adding the shortcode [ameliasearch], but I only have services available for 10 or 15 days per month and this way all the days of the month appear as selectable.
If I use the Step-by-step Booking wizard my clients have to select a service, see which days are available, if it doesn't suit them, choose another one, if it doesn't suit them either choose another one, until they find one that is available on their free day.
If I use the basic search view, they click on their free days but many have no services, and must search blindly all the month long until they found a day with services.
Is it possible, in the search mode, to show as available only the days with services? Is it possible to limit the search filter to only the pick-date calendar and the other filters are hidden? Is it possible in the Step-by-step Booking wizard mode that customers first choose the date and then the service available for this day?
Unfortunately, the steps in the booking form can't be moved around, so moving the date picker before the service is not possible.
What you could do, though, is rename the services so they include "Weekdays only" and "Weekends only", so people can differentiate between services before they get to the calendar.
As for the search form - it requires a lot of fixing, as it doesn't perform as it's supposed to. Our developers will work on it in the upcoming period, but at the moment, until the form is filtered, it will show all dates, so customers would need to filter per employee or service first, in order for the days that are not available to be crossed out.
