Hi, I've recently updated to the latest version of Amelia and noticed a very confusing change. Before in the booking process, the guest would choose the number of people they were booking for and THEN the calendar would appear with the available dates. Now the calendar appears from the beginning showing all dates as available until the guest chooses the number of people and clicks continue, then the calendar changes to show the available dates. I've found this is unnecessarily confusing and has caused at least one of my potential customers to contact me saying they could not figure out how to book on my site. I hope there is a way that I can go back to the original design where the calendar only appears with the available dates only after the guest chooses the number of people.
We can't figure out what's going on on your website.
Can you clone your website?
If yes - I'll ask you to install the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files that you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.
Please note that the files will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link.
This is a public ticket, so make sure that you check the PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Unfortunately, I can't provide instructions for that, as there are a lot of different approaches. Basically, if you have cPanel, you should have access credentials for FTP and the database. Providing access to cPanel would suffice.
If you can't find that, we'll have to wait for your web dev.
We fixed the issue with v4.2. Some settings in the database were missing when the plugin updated, and it messed up the form. We corrected that now.
You most likely have some caching on the booking page, as the loader itself is way too big, but the form itself works fine now. Can you please check it out, and let me know?
It seems like it's working great now thank you! I'll continue to clear the cache a continue to test, but I think we're good!
Thanks so much for your personal attention to this problem, Aleksandar. I recognize your time is probably quite valuable there and I won't waste much more of it. But while I have you, could you tell me if it is possible to change the booking process to choose directly how many people TOTAL are booking instead of having to toggle "Bringing anyone with you?" and then choosing the ADDITIONAL number guests? I noticed that with the new version the text is able to be edited, which is good. But I found that my guests are sometimes a bit confused by this formatting and I would prefer it if they could directly choose 1 guest, 2 guests, 3 guests, etc, if that makes sense.
You're welcome, Maurizio, I'm glad we could get to the bottom of this.
As for the additional people, unfortunately, this can't be changed. It would require modifying the logic of the form, and that's not something our developers can do at this moment.
I'll forward this to them, but I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

Hi again Maurizio.
Your site is too big for the Duplicator plugin, so I used All-in-One WP Migration.
The duplicated site has been sent to our developers, and as soon as I have news, I will let you know.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hey Maurizio
We can't replicate the issue on our end, which usually means that something on your server is causing it.
Would you be able to set up a staging site, for which you could provide wp-admin, FTP and database access credentials?
Just remember to enable the PRIVATE response.
Kind Regards,
