Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to create a table where the user can input the data, the formula provides a total and then in a addition there is a Running total column which adds the total including the rows above.
If not then is it possible to create a table which provides a final total of the entire column.
please see the image of the excel version of this. But keep in mind that the user will be entering the data into the table.
Is this possible?
Hi Mohamed
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I believe what you are looking for can be achieved using our formula columns (please have a look at our documentation for detailed information https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/column-features/formula-calculated-columns/) but please note that calculation functions below the column such as SUM cannot be used in formula columns.
If you decide to enter the calculated values manually in a integer or float type column you can use the calculations functions to display the total of all values in the column.
