We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I do not believe this is possible with the current plugin currently, but thought I would reach out just to make sure and/or suggest the possibility of adding it to the plugin.
My client has events where they would like to allow for 50 people to sign up at various times, but it is still the same event.
Example:
Valentines Dinner from 4:30pm-9:00pm
Allow 50 participants every 15 minutes
Workarounds I see:
1. Setup different events for every 15 minutes - not ideal because so many events will be listed.
2. A plugin feature added that allows to limit number of participants based on different custom field options and or allow for multiple times to be selected and limit participants to that inside the single event.
Thanks!
Mark Terborg
Hello Mark
Thank you for your purchase.
What you're looking for is not possible with Events, and I don't know if and when it will be added to the plugin. We discussed this just yesterday, and it is planned, but for when - I cannot say.
At the moment, you would be able to create a Service "Valentines Dinner", add the maximum capacity to be 50, and assign it to an employee that works from 4:30pm - 9:00pm. Then, if the service duration is set to 15 minutes, a new time slot will be offered every 15 minutes starting from 4:30.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Thank you for sharing the additional workaround. As you know, this is not ideal either, because it doesn't show up on the calendar as an event and I don't see a way to make that happen. I could probably do some custom Javascript to redirect the user to another page when clicking a button on the event to go to a booking form, but then the issue is the user still has to go through and select the date manually, and I don't see any way to bypass the calendar selection and just jump to the only available day if I set the employee to only work Special Days.
Really hoping the new feature is added to allow for timeslot selections for events where the max attendees is set for each timeslot instead of the entire event!
Thank you!
You're welcome, Mark.
My suggestion was to move away from Events and work only with Services, but I can understand what you want to achieve, and why this wouldn't be a useable solution.
I forwarded your suggestion to our developers again, and I hope that time slots in events will be added relatively soon.
Kind Regards,
