Please accept our apologies for replying a bit later than usual. If the customers use the Forgot password option in the Customer panel, the notification they receive is the Customer Panel Access notification that you will find under Other notification on the Amelia Notifications page.
If you are referring to customers accessing the Customer panel in general, you need to add the customer panel URL placeholder to the email notification sent to customers when they book an appointment (Approved appointment notification for example) and they will have a link to access the panel when they book an appointment. The first time they access it via the link they will have the option to set a password for themselves there, and later on, they can use their email and that password to login into the panel. If the option that the password is not required is disabled in Amelia _> Settings -> Roles settings they will access the panel without logging in, only via the token in the link sent. Please note that if you test this while logged in as an admin to WP open the link in incognito mode, and make sure to log out from the panel if you test more.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask
How does it make sense to send a link every time a user wants to see their booking? Can you confirm which e-mail goes to a user who already has a login ID and password?
Please give the exact flow of Amelia for existing e-mail booking users
The customers don't need a link to access the customer panel each time, they need to access it via a link after a booking for the first time to set a password for themselves, but later on, they can log in to the panel directly. You add the Customer panel to one of the pages on your website, that is accessible by the customers, so they can just go there and login to their profile. Like here for example, on one of our demo sites https://beauty.wpamelia.com/customer-panel/
Hello Team,
Please let us know how the reset password link is generated. We need to create an email notification to send users.
Also, what are the settings for amelia to send booking emails to existing users?
Please please reply Asap. Neither your guide gives full information nor your support service is not good as it describes.
