Hi,
I have a problem with services that accept multiple participants. In your documentation you have a type of group appointment defined as 'Group appointments where all customers are separate (usually the case when they don’t know one another)' . I understand that if a max capacity for a service is set at 2, a customer A can book a slot, then an other customer B should also be able to book the same time slot since one place is still free, right ?
In my case I have a fitness class with up to 8 participants. If one customer books a time slot, then it becomes unavailable to others in the booking view. I also have the 'allow booking above maximum capacity' enabled and the service's default status is 'Pending'.
It would be great if you could help me with this.
Cheers,
Anuraag
Hi Anuraag,
Apologies for replying a bit later.
Could you please check if the option Allow booking below minimum capacity: in Amelia -> Settings -> Appointments is enabled? If this option is disabled when the minimum capacity of the service is achieved that time slot will be closed for booking for other customers. You can read more about the appointments settings here.
Let me know if this helped!
Hi Marija,
No worries for the delay.
Alright, I hadn't enabled the Allow booking below minimum capacity because we also have a service with a minimum capacity where one customer defines a number of persons that are coming. It's unfortunate that this setting automatically blocks reservations for other services once they reach minimum capacity. I'll have to find a way around this.
Anyway, thank you very much for your help.
Have a great day,
Anuraag
Hello Anuraag
We'll forward this use case to our developers and we hope they will be able to split this per service, so it's not a global setting. Thank you for your feedback!
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
