You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

    Hi there,

    We have an assistant who manages events as part of their work, and they would like to stick to their workflow.

    Which basically is, they create an event in their Outlook calendar. So now that they think about managing bookings with the help of WordPress, I wonder if Amelia can also synch an iCal event *from* an Outlook calendar *to* Amelia?

    It's mentioned on your Features List but I wanted to be sure that it's exactly that direction. So does the synchronization work both way?

    Hi Markus Seyfferth,

    Thank you for your interest in our plugin and sorry for our late response.

    I am not sure that I understood you right, we have Outlook synchronization integrated into the plugin and I will explain how it works:

    • In Amelia, you create employees and each employee can be connected to one Outlook calendar (they all can also be connected to the same Outlook calendar),
    • If an employee is connected to the Outlook calendar, that calendar will sync with the Amelia plugin
    • Once the appointment is booked in Amelia, it will automatically be added to the connected Outlook calendar (of the employee that is booked for the appointment)
    • And in the opposite way, once the event is added to the Outlook calendar it will affect the free time slots in Amelia but you should know that those events will not be shown in Amelia, just the customers will not be able to make another booking at the same time since that time will become unavailable.
