We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
Trying to setup Amelia, its a complete blank setup. When trying to setup the General Settings and the Opening hours, I can't pick the right times,
My default time-slot step needs to be set at 4 hours, the buffer time is 1 hour and the openinghours van 09:00 till 22:00. (so 3 slots, with an hour in between)
When I try to enable the opening hours, I opening I can only pick 00, 04, 08, 12, etc..
Hello Wouter van Maaren
Thank you for your purchase.
This is because you set your default time slot step to 4 hours. The time periods in Amelia need to be dividable by the default time slot step, and it's not defining your working hours, service durations, working hours or anything else. It just gives you different time slot step options.
If you set the default time slot step to be 10 minutes, you will be able to create working hours at 00:00, 00:10, 00:20, 00:30 - this is up to you to choose when your employee is going to work.
If you don't need anything less than 1 hour, the time slot step should be set to 1 hour.
Then, you can enable "Use service duration for booking a time slot" below it, so when you create a 4-hour long service, the available time slots will be shown in your employee's working hours.
If you configure the work hours of the employee so he works from 09:00 - 22:00, the first time slot will be from 09:00 - 13:00. Then, if the service has a 1-hour buffer time after the service, the next time slot will be from 14:00 - 18:00 but the last time slot will not be displayed because of the buffer time.
The buffer time would allow the next time slot step to be at 19:00, but add buffer time to that, and the next time slot would be from 20:00 - 23:00. Your employee's working hours need to be from 09:00 - 24:00 to accept 3 4-hour long appointments with 1 hour of buffer time in between each appointment.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
