Hello. I'm interested in you plugin Amelia but, before I buy, I want to make sure Amelia is the right tool for me.
My company had meetingrooms for rent per hour. So I want my customers to have the option to book per hour instead of a full day. And the booking has to be attached to a room instead of an employee.

Basically, Amelia was created as a plugin for booking Appointments. Therefore, there are no built-in features for the rental business. But there are some workarounds.
In your case, each boat has to be a booking Service in Amelia.
I should mention first that a Service can last only up to 23h 30min. So if you want to let longer rental time, you'll have to use Events.
Our plugin needs at least one Employee connected with a Service. If you have 5 rooms and you want to allow renting them at the same time separately (and avoid double renting), you'll have to connect them to 5 different Employees. It goes without saying that these Employees don't have to be real staff members, they can be added only in order to follow the logic of the plugin.
In Amelia, each Employee needs to have a unique email address so each room will have also. This can be solved if you plan to use Gmail by adding +number before @ for the same email address (like [email protected], [email protected], etc.) and then you will be able to create different email addresses but all emails will go to the same email address.
On the front-end, the selection of Employees can be hidden, so your customers won't have to choose them while booking.

My apologies, I was thinking about a similar case, and I messed up the words. Because we apparently have plenty of clients with boat or kayak rental services, and it seems like they use Amelia without any issues.

Thank you for your response. We don't rent boats but meeting rooms per hour, but overall your eplanation was clear.
Do you offer a trial period zo I can look and feel if Amelia fits our wishes?
