We're having an issue when customers try to access the customer panel.
We have 'Require password for login' turned off in the Role Settings, but when a customer clicks on the %customer_panel_url% link in their confirmation email it takes the to the Customer Panel page but it just shows a form asking for their email to send them an access link (see screenshot).
When they fill out the form they get another email with the access link, but that just sends them back to the page with the form asking for their email to send them the access link.
It seems to be stuck in a loop. Is this a setting that we have missed?
Ideally, we thought that turning off the password requirement would allow them to access the Customer Panel right away without having to request an access link.
When you disable the password option, the plugin sends a link with a token to access the panel.
This token is generated when they click on the %customer_panel_url% (programmatically - dynamically created link).
Please check if maybe you added the direct URL to the customer panel. If, for example, you added a hyperlink, but used https://creativemanitoba.ca/staging/customer-panel/ instead of %customer_panel_url% this will happen, because the plugin will use the URL instead of programmatically creating a token.
If you can't resolve the issue, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
