When testing the plug-in, I created employees in the system which right now, I am trying to change their emails and passwords but no matter what I change it to, it does not take it. It keeps showing me the old testing info I entered at first.
What can I do?
I have deleted and entered the employee again, and it keeps the info.
Thank you for your purchase, and sorry for the late response.
If you're not able to change the email address, please check if you already have another employee created with that email address, or if you have a customer created with it. The plugin accepts only one user per email address.
If you can't find duplicate entries, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

I have been setting up websites for many years now. I also have been setting up emails to many companies. employees and sales reps in the field, emails into tables, cell phones, and desktops, and I have never experienced such a difficult piece of software to work such as Amelia. OMG!
My email information is correct, the server information is correct. I even went to Google and authorized less secured apps to connect with the email. Your documentation does not go deep on explaining the email setup.
Is there anything else am I missing here?
Is it possible to talk with someone on the phone? - This email back and forth is a waste of time!
It could have happened that you edited something else in this employee's profile and clicked on Save with that input filled in, so the password changed. But as I can see this employee is connected to a WP user, so the password they have for WP should be applied to Amelia as well, could you please try logging in with this employee's WP credentials (email and password) to the panel and check if that will work for you?
Sorry to see you have issues with setting up email notifications in Amelia. Since you use SMTP, please try both options for SMTP port and secure - 465 with SSL and 587 with TLS. Sometimes using SMTP for some providers like Gmail or similar is not supported by the hosting/server. So you need to check this out with them as well, what configuration is needed for SMTP sending emails on your servers.
If you have some other plugin for this purpose, sending emails/ SMTP, on your website, then you need to choose WP Mail as a Mail service in Amelia and it will use that other plugin's configuration for sending emails.

Well,
All those passwords and emails are for test only. Will I be able to update their emails and change the passwords when doing it for permanent use?
It does not work for me. Why?
I am not understanding your software at all.
1. I access the employee portal
2. I see the password which I don't want there. I remove it and place it a new one:
3. I save the new password. It says SUCCESS
4. When I go back into the system, the old password is still there. It does not change.
5. What should I use for username?
Hi There
Thanks for answering. My problem is with employee Tiffani If you could please read below?
What do you use for the username, the email or the first name?
I tried different browsers, even incognito. Nothing works!
Also, I am having a hard time getting the system to send out emails. No matter what configuration I choose it simply does not send out emails.
