    Hello,

I need to manage bookings and reservations for a tennis center.

So, for example, we have 4 courts and we can take 4 reservations at the same time. Which is the best way to manage this need?

I don't want the user to have to search for a free court before booking. He should only select the time-slot and, if there is at least 1 free court, we will book that without having the user to manually check which field is free and then book it.

I spent some hours reading documentation and tweaking with services' "Minimum/Maximum Capacity" but it doesn't solve the problem: even if it's booked only 1 person on 4, we continue to have only 1 slot availability on frontend and, once it's booked, that time become unavailable.

    Can you help me, please?

    Thank you

    Bests

    Hi, Luca,

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

    1. If you want your Customers to select the date first, and only then see available courts aka Services, you should use the Search view: https://wpamelia.com/booking-search/

In other views, it's mandatory to select a Service first.

    2. Please enable the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option in Amelia -> Settings -> Appointments, and then the same time slot will be available for further bookings even if one or a few places are already taken.

    3. I'm afraid, this view is not available with the current built-in features in Amelia for Services. Only Events have the option to show Capacity and remaining places.

    Best Regards.

Hi Liza, many thanks for the answer.

Now it's much clearer and I am able to achieve a result more similar to what I have in mind.

    Have a good day
