A couple of things obvious from your documentation but I may be wrong:
When will you offer employees able to register on the front end? - we work with 100s of sales and investor relations people I dont want to add them all myself nor do I want them to have access to the backend.
When will you be able to offer other maps like map box other than Google API - I dont have or want to pay for an API.
It also looks like you don't have a multiple day 'booking slot' - is this possible?
Can employees get their own services and their own prices / hourly rates?
thank you for reaching out to us, and for taking interest in Amelia
At the moment, employees can be added only manually, however, I do recall a client inquiring about this; if they have submitted a request on this page you can vote for it. If there isn't please feel free to submit it.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
You can do so for the maps as well, as we currently don't have integrations other than Google Maps on our roadmap of planned implementations.
Amelia days are currently limited to under 24h; however, you can check Recurring Service (daily one), which allows the client to book multiple consecutive days.
Sure; you can assign a service to that one employee exclusively, or assign it to more employees, and then in each employee's profile, in Assigned Services tab give them their individual pricing for that service.
Exactly, it's added just like in the tutorial on the site, if that is not the page you are referring to, you can find how to set up and connect your Employee to his WordPress User here.
The only two connecting points are Employee and WordPress User with Amelia Employee role.
I think this is the issue with 100s of users and employees.
1) I have to go to each one and change their role.
2) "After you create a WordPress user, go to the “Employee” modal and under the “WordPress User” option select a WordPress user you’ve previously created." - is there a way to automatically assign this second step?
Even if I put in the work to do 1), doing 2 is a MAJOR PAIN.
Your plugin is expensive, therefore to create the value we must be able to operate at scale in large numbers.
The workflow you have at the moment does not show me that this is scalable. I am always required in the middle to make several adjustments but current and future employees.
We don't have plans to automate the employee creation in Amelia from existing WordPress users in the near future. The logic behind it is complex, and we'll need more time to work on it.
When you create an employee in Amelia, you can click on the "WordPress user" drop-down, and select "Create New". If there's no WP user with that email address, a new WordPress user with the "Amelia Employee" user role will be created, and linked to the employee. That's the fastest way to create WP Users when adding new employees in Amelia.
You can disable the Location selection through Amelia/Customize sections (depending on which form you use, you'll configure this in Customize 1.0 or 2.0, of course).
A few questions before purchasing if I may:

What happens if my employees are registered in Wordpress already should I need to add them again, convert them some how or switch their role?
It looks to be like you use an employee custom post type?
How can I get my employee 'Wordpress users' into this role and post type?
If we can answer this I will buy for sure. Thanks
Another extended questions please?
If I add them with the 'special Amelia employee role' in your document is this all I need to do?
It looks to me like you use another post the and not just the user and user role - this is what concerns me.
Hi Neil,
thank you for contacting back

Hi, Neil,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, unfortunately, due to some limitations in the code, it's not possible to link WP Users to Amelia Employee profiles automatically.
Our developers have this option on their to-do list, but we cannot tell you precisely when it will be implemented. Sorry for disappointing you.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, we will gladly respond to them.
Best Regards.
When will this change please?
Hello Neil

is the use of location mandatory because we use map box not google so would prefer for Amelia to NOT be referencing location
sorry for all the pre-sales questions but there are a number of key changes we need to use your plugin. Thanks
Hello Neil.
You can disable the Location selection through Amelia/Customize sections (depending on which form you use, you'll configure this in Customize 1.0 or 2.0, of course).
