We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello our client is a hair salon.
They have different locations for each salon.
They need a salon access to the admin so they can see their planning and manage their employees/reservations.
Is that existing/possible and if so how can I access it?
Thank you in advance,
Cam.
Hi Camila!
There are several ways for this:
You can grant them Administrator, Manager or Employee roles for the backend access to Amelia.
Or you can provide them Employee access trough the Employee panel, however, if you need them to have more capabilities, I recommend backend access.
Hello Ivana,
Client need the equivalent of a Manager role but by location.
Each salon is managed by one person. And this person has to view/edit the reservations in this saloon but not in the others.
Please help me achieve this, it is a must have for the client.
thank you in advance,
Cam
Hello Cam
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, something like this cannot be achieved. Amelia Manager is an Amelia Manager, and is a manager for the entire plugin. The role can't be assigned to locations.
What you're looking for to achieve can only be done in a multi-site environment. So, if every salon is a separate Amelia installation on a sub-site, each user would be assigned only to that sub-site, and wouldn't interfere with other sub-sites.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
