We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
Sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you could help me.
We are setting up a booking system for a play centre. At each time, the maximum capacity of the centre is 25 people.
Currently, due to Covid restrictions, we have five tables, each seating a maximum of five people.
We would like people to be able to make a booking for up to five people (one table) and pay per person.
Is this possible?
Kind regards
James
Hi, James,
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
I believe you can achieve that if you add each table as a Service.
In Amelia, in order to make Services available simultaneously, they have to be assigned to different Employees (not necessarily the real ones, fictional ones will do the trick as well). And each Employee needs to have a unique email address. This can be solved if you plan to use Gmail by adding +number before @ for the same email address (like [email protected], [email protected], etc.) and then you will be able to create "different" email addresses but all emails will go to the same email address.
Then you can set the Service Capacity to 1 and add 4 Extras to each Service. Thus, each table aka Service will be available for booking for at least one person and maximum 5 persons. And choosing the number of Extras, your Clients will be able to select the number of attendees, and it will affect the total price:
That's the only way to make Service prices "customizable" at the moment.
Hope that will help.
Best Regards.
