Hello, I am implementing Amelia y my website, and found some issues, would you give me a hand?
Context: my site is in spanish (Mexico).
1.- When I am adding a user, in the telephone field appears 044, this it has changed now in Mexico (telenumber1), the problem is when you see the propperties of the user created there is a 0 before number (telenumber 2), so I would like to remove the cero(0) and (044) of the from and user properties.
2.- in the same user add form, in the birthday field, if I want to fill manually the date, the field format date is mm/dd/yyyy, in mexico the format date is dd/mm/yyyy pic(calendar), I would like to change it to mexico format.
3.- In the same form in the calendar and also in the calendar that appears in the reservationn process, the Wednesday appears like "X"(pic calendar2), I know this is a convention because in spanish Tuesday and Wednesday are "Martes" and "Miercoles" so the M is repeated, is there a way to change the letters of the week to 3 letters? for example Mon, Tue,Wed.. in order to have in spanish Lun,Mar,Mier...
1. At the moment, the placeholder for the country for the mobile numbers cannot be changed, I'm afraid that is a default. If the format is 0 customer can add 44 manually after.
2. Amelia date formats will follow WordPress date formats; you can go to WordPress > General Settings and change the date format there
3. Sure! You can use Loco Translate to "translate" these labels for days names into shorter versions. Loco is a WP plugin, fully free and easy to use.
Thank you for your answer, the point number 1, the convention to dial to cell phone has changed in mexico, so the 044 is not used anymore. So I think this need to be changed in order to fit to Mexico now you can dial directrly to cell phone without 044, even if you use the 044 the call is rejected.
I have informed the developers of this; I found an article regarding this change and let them know about this so that they can consider it for implementation (because if calls are not possible due to this change, then the SMS would not arrive appropriately either).
I don't know how you see "044", this is what I see:
Have you purged all cache from your server? If you have, can you reach out to your hosting provider and ask them to perform a deeper purge - they are able to clear everything caching plugins aren't able to reach.

Hi Cesar,
thank you for reaching out to us

I will try the other points and keep you posted.

Hi Cesar!
Thank you for the kind reply
I have informed the developers of this; I found an article regarding this change and let them know about this so that they can consider it for implementation (because if calls are not possible due to this change, then the SMS would not arrive appropriately either).
Hello I have downloaded the last version of the plugin but this issues was not fixed. Is there any ETA for this issue?
Hello Cesar.
We can't replicate the issue on our end, or we don't understand it well. When we're adding a new customer, this is what we see:
Also, when we add the phone number from your first comment (without the 0), it saves it without the zero:
Make sure to purge cache on your server, and if that doesn't help please send us a short screen recording, so we can understand the issue better.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

One more question. Is it possible remove the "044" number from the place holder on the phone field? (look the picture)
Thank you
