thanks for your replay. This morning I disactivated and reactivated the pluginn and now it looks working so at this moment further investigation is no more required.
Only some questios:
1) The password assigned to the employee is not visible. Is this right?
2) Front-end Employees Panel. Is there any possibility to print the list of appointment that appear on the screen in this area?
3) There is any possibility to configure the lay out as per below picture? From my point of view it is more visible.
4) In your form booked slot disapper from available slots. Is there any possibility to configure booked slot in order to leave them visible but marked as NOT available or already booked.
I'm glad to hear you resolved this issue. And thank you for sharing your solution with us.
I'd like to mention that if you use any caching plugin, please exclude pages with Amelia from its settings.
1. Yes, that's correct. Once the password is set, it becomes "invisible".
2. We don't have a printing feature at the moment. It's on our to-do list, but I can't tell you precisely when it will be implemented, unfortunately. It's only possible to export Appointments to a CVS file on the back-end Appointments page:
3. Unfortunately, it's not possible to change the entire UI with the current built-in features. probably, it can be achieved with custom work, so if you want, we can provide you with contacts of development services that work with Amelia. However, we cannot say how much it will cost and how long it will take.
4. It's possible only with Events: they don't disappear but only get the "Closed" status once they are fully booked.
EVENTS. We are using this features to book seats in a gym: We like to supply a list of partecipants to the guys incharge to perform check-in. At the moment, af far as I know, partecipant's list can be exported ONLY on the back.end. This means to create a WP user etc. etc.
There is any possibility to send by mail the list of partecipants automatically at bokking closures?
Or do you have any other suggestion to meet our need?
I believe if you set a reminder notification to Employees, let's say 1h before the Event, and add the %customer_full_name% placeholder to it, it should include all attendees of the Event.
I didn't test this solution but theoretically, that should work just fine.
Please note that reminder notifications require Cron to be set on the server, without Cron they won't be triggered.
as far concern mail content as suggested it is ok. Attendees of the event are listed.
Still a problem in sending the mail configured as per your suggestion (Scheduled, 1 hour before the event start)
As I am not sure if the problem is in the CRON JOB or in your side I am testing the functionallity using the URL shown at bottom of the notification in a browser. At every refresh browsere reply is
We will release a new update this Monday, and the fix will be included in it. That's why there's no need to reinstall Amelia now.
However, it seems like the issue with disappeared pages was related to caching. Therefore, if this issue occurs again after updating Amelia, please purge the site cache. If that doesn't help, please reach out to your hosting provider and ask them to purge the cache on their end.
Once you are done with updating Amelia, please test cron again and let us know if it works.
If you activated the purchase code in Amelia Settings/Activation, you should be able to update the plugin through the Plugins section.
If that doesn't work, please go to Dashboard/Updates, and if that doesn't work, please download the file from our store.
Then go to Amelia Settings/Activation, and make sure that the "Delete database tables" slider is disabled. Then, go to your Plugins section and deactivate Amelia. If you're using WordPress 5.8+, you'll be able to go to the Plugins section/Add New, and upload the file you previously downloaded.
When you upload the file, WordPress will inform you that you're replacing the plugin with another version, so just confirm that. After the plugin is installed, activate it, and make sure to purge all cache from your website.
many thanks for your replay. Following your indication plugin has been updated therefore I am now operating with release 4.3.
In this condtions no one of the expected implemantation/correction I find. I am talking of:
1) CRON JOB to send notification to a STAFF one hour before event start. No way to get it working. CRON JOB works for notification to client but not to STAFF. 2) The possibility to estract the list of client from online STAFF panel still not available. Could you please check from your side and suggets me something to do in order to solve the problems? Many thanks Carlo
1. The cron is the same for all scheduled notifications, so they should all work. On your site, for Employees I can only see the notification that should be sent for Events on the day of booking, at 18h. Is that one not working alright?
2. This hasn't been included in the panel yet, and I don't believe it will be any time soon. I'll forward it as a feature request to our development team, but I can't provide any ETA, unfortunately.
1) I am a little confused as I do not remember to configured the notification to Employe as stated by you and really find now in the system.
I changed now the configuration of the existing notification into "Scheduled" 1 hour before the event start. This is the configuration that I tested last time without success.
Please check it if you can and advise if is correctly configured in order to be sent 1 hour before the event starts. Please test it.
To test it I past the URL at the bottom of the notification into a browser 55 min before event starts and see the result. Is this a right way to test/simulate cron functionallity?
This metode works while I test the notification to attendant.
2) Liza told me that this features was included in 4.4 release. But if not I will wait.
I created a new employee, a new customer, a new event and assigned the employee to the event, and assigned the event to the custom notification, but the notification did not come through.
The way you tested it is correct, but I can't say why it's not working. Where did you set up the cron? If it was on the server, can you reach out to your hosting provider and ask them to check if the cron was configured properly? They should also see the log and see if it was triggered at any time.
Thanks for your patience. If, as you also say, the manual test method is correct, this does NOT depend of the configuration of the server. It will depend on it when it will works automatically because in this case is the server that launch the comand, comand that is manual launched during my test.
If I configure the notification for the client it works but if I configure it for the staff it doesn't work. This is the problem.
So I suspect that there is something that do not properly work or in your package or in my ambient as conflict or others.
In any case, this problem is currently of second importance for me. I will return to it in the next future. Thanks
The task was created for our developers, and it's currently in the testing phase with our QAs. If everything goes according to plan, the fix will be included in our next update.
I am unable to save in the employe password's field the password suitable to entry employees panel.
When I configure it an email is sent to the employe with right credential and relevant link.
Link is correct and opene the right page that contain [ameliaemployeepanel events=1] shortcode.
Tiping the email and password as per received mail sistem say that are incorrect.
Editing the employe the pssword field is empty.
I suppose that employee password is NOT stored.
Could you please suggest any action to correct this?
Many thanks
Carlo

Is this a good practice to test it?
Scenario that appear now is that if notification is configured as "Triggered" it is ok while as "Scheduled" NO.
Could you please suggest me something to follow in order to get it working?
Many thanks

Liza
many thanks for your suggestions. As far concern your question I am using Amelia since one month approx and CRON never worked.
According to your sugestion I will upgrade my installation in the next days.
One more question, the file sent me include also the feature to export event attendant list from employ panel?
I will let you result of upgarde soon.
Thanks
Carlo
Carlo,
I'm glad I could help
Please let us know if you could get cron to work.
Yes, all recent Amelia versions have an option to export data, so this file includes it as well.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Liza
bad news. New release do not work. After its installation as suggested system become not operable from back-end.
Back end pages appear blank (see enclosed) except the Appointments one without any possibility to do something.
I reinstalled with same procedure the old one and averything back normal.
Awaiting your news
Carlo
Carlo,
Sorry to hear that.
It looks like a caching issue or a conflict with another plugin.
Could you please provide us with:
- a temporary WP Admin login (including the login page),
- FTP access?
Please make sure you use private reply to post the credentials.
Best Regards.
Carlo,

Version 4.3 (Released 01.11.2021) is now available for new purchases. How can I get it to upgrade existing installation? (my one of course)
Best regards.
Carlo
Hello Carlo
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi again Carlo
When you have more time to dedicate to this issue, please just respond to the ticket and we'll get to it.
Something's not executing the cron automatically, and I can't say what.
