We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi, i needed certain columns in a table to be only sortable in descending order, how can i achieve this?
Hello Alonso
Thank you for your purchase.
Only one column can be chosen as a default sorting column for the table. So, if you select one column to be a column the table will be sorted by, and you choose the descending fashion, only that column will be sorted like that.
The only way you can sort the table by multiple columns would be if you hold down SHIFT and click on the header of 2 columns.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello,
Thanks for your response but that's not what i'm trying to achieve. What i need is to simply disable the option to sort in ascending order for certain columns, not on load but when the user actually tries to sort manually. I hope i made myself more clear now.
Thank you.
Hello again.
Unfortunately, something like this is not possible. A lot of things would need to be changed in the code of the plugin, or you would have to include some hooks, depending on the table type.
You can sort the table per some column, and then disable sorting for other columns in the table. There's no way to disable only one sorting direction.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
